How to Cancel and Refund Your Subscription?

If you've decided to cancel your subscription, request a refund, or need assistance with unexpected charges, we're here to guide you through the process.

Our subscription model ensures charges are only initiated after an active user action, such as creating an account and upgrading to a premium or platinum plan.

Cancelling your subscription

(Remember that you can cancel your PrivacyHawk subscription at any time)

For Apple Devices

  • Open the Settings app on your device.

  • Tap your name at the top of the screen.

  • Select "Subscriptions." (If you don't see "Subscriptions," tap "iTunes & App Store" instead. Then tap your Apple ID, view Apple ID, sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, and tap Subscriptions.)

  • Find and tap the subscription for PrivacyHawk you wish to cancel.

  • Tap "Cancel Subscription." (If you don't see this option, the subscription has already been canceled.)

For a refund: After canceling, visit Apple's "Report a Problem" website at reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the transaction, and follow the prompts to submit a refund request. Apple handles all billing and refunds for purchases made through the App Store, so they will be your point of contact for these requests.

For Android Devices

  • Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.

  • Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines in the top-left corner) and select Subscriptions.

  • Locate and tap the PrivacyHawk subscription.

  • Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your cancellation.

For a refund: Use the Google Play refund request flow within 48 hours of cancellation to initiate your refund. If more than 48 hours have passed since the cancellation, contact Google Play Support directly for assistance, as they handle all refund inquiries for Play Store purchases. Note: Refund eligibility is subject to Google Play's terms and conditions.

For Web Platform Users

  • Users of the PrivacyHawk Web Platform wishing to cancel their subscription and request a refund can simply email us at [email protected].

  • Please specify that you purchased your subscription through our official web app, including details of your subscription (if you are contacting us from a different email from the one used to purchase your subscription, please share that with us too) and your refund request.

  • Our support team will take prompt action to address your cancellation and initiate the refund process, ensuring a hassle-free resolution.

  • If you signed up outside of an app store (e.g., via the PrivacyHawk website) and wish to cancel your subscription, please email our support team at [email protected], providing details about your purchase. Our team will confirm the cancellation process once completed. Refund policies may vary depending on the purchasing platform.

Resolving Unexpected Subscription Charges

  • Verify that no one with access to your device initiated a subscription by checking active subscriptions tied to payment methods.
