How Do I Manage My PrivacyHawk Subscription?

Managing your PrivacyHawk subscription is simple and can be done directly through the app or the platform where you initially subscribed. Whether you want to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan, here’s how to manage it step by step.

For Web App PrivacyHawk Subscriptions:

    • Go to the Settings menu in the app and take a screenshot that shows the email linked to your PrivacyHawk account.

    • Reach out to our Suppor Team at [email protected], share the screenshot you took previously, and mention that you'd like to Cancel Your Subscription.

For Apple App Store Users:

  1. Open the Settings App:

    • Tap on the Settings icon on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Access Your Apple ID:

    • Tap your name at the top of the Settings menu to enter your Apple ID settings.

  3. Navigate to Subscriptions:

    • Tap on Subscriptions to view all active and expired subscriptions associated with your Apple ID.

  4. Manage Your PrivacyHawk Subscription:

    • Locate and tap on the PrivacyHawk subscription from the list.

    • Here, you can choose to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription.

      • To change your plan, select the desired option and confirm your choice.

      • To cancel, tap Cancel Subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: If you don't see the Cancel Subscription button, the subscription may already be canceled or may have been billed through another provider. For more information, please reach out directly to Apple's Support.

For Google Play Store Users:

  1. Open the Google Play Store App:

    • Tap on the Google Play Store icon on your Android device.

  2. Access Your Account:

    • Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Navigate to Subscriptions:

    • Select Payments & Subscriptions.

    • Tap on Subscriptions to view your active subscriptions.

  4. Manage Your PrivacyHawk Subscription:

    • Find and tap on the PrivacyHawk subscription.

    • From here, you can pause, change, or cancel your subscription:

      • To change the plan, select Manage, choose the new plan, and confirm.

      • To cancel, tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.

Note: Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must follow the steps above to ensure cancellation. For more information, please reach out directly to Google's Support.

Troubleshooting Subscription Visibility Issues: If your PrivacyHawk subscription is not appearing where expected, consider these common scenarios:

  • Web App Purchases: Subscriptions bought directly through the PrivacyHawk website will not appear in Apple ID or Google Play subscription lists. Reach out to Support to verify your subscription status.

  • Apple Pay Users: If you used Apple Pay but cannot find your subscription in your Apple account:

    • Check your email for a receipt or confirmation from PrivacyHawk.

    • Ensure you're logged in with the correct Apple ID.

    • Contact PrivacyHawk's Support if visibility issues persist.

Refund Requests:

  • Apple App Store: Refunds for subscriptions purchased through the App Store must be requested directly from Apple, as PrivacyHawk cannot process these refunds. For more details, click here.

  • Google Play Store: Refunds for subscriptions purchased through Google Play must be requested directly from Google. For more details, click here.
