Managing Your PrivacyHawk Family Plan: Add, Remove, and Upgrade Members

As a Family Owner, you have full control over your PrivacyHawk Family Plan. You can add or remove members and upgrade your plan.

Step-by-step Instructions:
To Add Members:

  1. Open the PrivacyHawk app and go to My Family Plan.

  2. Tap Share to send your family code to up to three people.

  3. Members enter the code in their app to join.

To Remove Members:

  1. Go to My Family Plan and tap Manage (appears after at least one member joins).

  2. Select the member you want to remove.

  3. Confirm removal when prompted.

To Upgrade Your Family Plan:

  1. Tap Upgrade in the menu if you wish to move from Premium to Platinum.

  2. Complete the upgrade process (members get upgraded instantly).

What to Expect:

  • Removed members immediately lose Premium/Platinum access.

  • Only Family Owners can remove members or manage the plan.

  • Family Members can ask Owners to upgrade, but can’t do it themselves.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting:

  • Reached member limit? You can have up to four people (including the owner).

  • Trying to remove more than three people at once? Only up to three can be removed in a row.

  • Owner deleting account? All members lose Family Plan access; everyone will need to purchase a new subscription.

When to Contact Support:

  • Trouble adding or removing members and the above steps didn’t help.

  • Issues with your plan status not updating after changes.
