You are not obligated to use the SSN monitoring feature. Other components of the Identity Protection Tool are available without activating SSN monitoring.
Other Tools Don’t Require SSN
Features like Data Broker Removal and Digital Footprint Reduction do not require your SSN. The SSN verification applies only to the Identity Protection Tool, which is one part of the Platinum Offering.
